The Uplift House

The Uplift House is a space for real stories, honest expression, creativity, and thoughtful conversations. It provides a platform for Somalis whose voices are rarely heard and creates room for ideas, dialogue, healing, and reflection.

Through storytelling, community conversations, art, research, and public forums, The Uplift House brings together youth, artists, thinkers, academics, and community leaders to share experiences, reflect on society, and discuss issues that shape Somalia’s future.

This program provides a safe space for people to share their stories, experiences, and personal journeys. It uses narrative, dialogue, and guided reflection as tools for healing, connection, and emotional expression.

Somali Art showcases creativity through poetry, music, theatre, visual arts, and cultural expression. This promotes artistic talent, strengthens cultural identity, and provides a platform for creatives to express themselves,spark conversation, and inspire communities.

The Uplift Youth Hub connects and brings together young people who want to contribute and take part in shaping their communities.Members learn from each other, lead local activities, support and advocate for causes they care about, and volunteer in community projects.
