Uplift Somalia convened a meeting with the leaders of student unions from SIMAD University, Benadir University, and Mogadishu University. The meeting aimed to establish a strong and collaborative partnership between Uplift Somalia and University Student Associations. The conversation focused on identifying the skills and knowledge students need most, and how these needs align with the demands of the job market, community development, and Somalia’s evolving socio-economic context. Uplift Somalia also shared the types of skill development programs it provides for youth and students, including training opportunities, leadership development, practical learning sessions, and other initiatives designed to strengthen their personal and professional growth.
